As promised, here are my Top 3 golf picks for the 2009 Players Championship and keep in mind, this is from a betting perspective, where value is everything when you’re trying to win some money.
I’ve broken down my top 3 plays and will name them, Gold, Silver and Bronze picks.
Gold Pick: Tiger Woods +375.
Keys to selection: Tiger won this event in 2001 and getting him at +375 seems like a safe bet and maybe use this as a hedge for our other 2 wagers.
Silver Pick: Geoff Ogilvy +3300
Keys to selection: Ogilvy won the Accenture Match Play Championship this season and has made the top 10 list since 2003 at this tournament. Good value!
Bronze Pick: Chad Campbell +8000
Keys to selection: The last time this guy went to a Major (The Masters); he lost in a playoff with Angel Cabrera and Kenny Perry. Bit of a longshot, but worth some respect this weekend after his nice showing at Augusta.
ATP French Open: It’s never too early to talk French Open Tennis, as the 2009 French Open tennis tournament takes place on May 24th to June 7th 2009. The ATS 2009 French Open is going to be played in Paris, France at “Le Stade Roland Garros”.
